The Computer Masti curriculum is created by computer science professors at IIT Bombay in collaboration with Next Education
The curriculum focuses on making students IT fluent with an emphasis on 21st century skills to make them future-ready
The curriculum is not limited to expensive licensed software packages. Instead, it employs a range of Free Open Software (FOSS) like Scratch (visual programming language), TuxPaint, etc
Our motive is to sensitise students to social and ethical issues regarding responsible use of Internet resources with safety guidelines
The activity section caters to all the six levels of Bloom’s taxonomy and stimulates learners to ask questions
The curriculum is organised around a spiral curriculum, enabling students to imbibe computer-programming skills thoroughly. The concepts are revisited across levels, building a deeper understanding at each level.
- The books suggest exercises and asanas to practice at regular intervals, while using a computer
At Next Education we believe that a child must arrive at learning through interactive and engaging fun-filled activities. The NextBooks are designed to include English, numeracy and general awareness to impart an integrated and holistic learning to a child.
This integrated set of books books for each grade with the core subjects English Language, Number Work and General Awareness. Each integrated book in the pre-primary level fuses subjective learning with creative and playful teaching. These books emphasise on creative and practical learning to develop language, cognitive and motor skills.
These colourfully illustrated books aim at teaching various skills and concepts in a well-graded and structured manner. Each book has a number of activities and practice tasks to develop age-appropriate skills such as understanding concepts, vocabulary development, letter and sound recognition and numerical concepts. This integrated and interdisciplinary approach helps develop visual memory skills and incidental learning at a very young age. The books offer help to the children to reach the standards in acquiring social, emotional, language, cognitive and motor skills.
